Mannnnn...catholic high boys always used to talk smack when I was in school about how "y'all ain't ready for 5A football"....WTF, looks like Catholic high isn't ready for 5a football.

Football HC Thibodeaux

Definitely not a recruiter. He has always coached the players he has.

It's usually not the HC that goes out recruiting players.

Catholic should recruit more. They haven't had the same talent level there since Sids last freshman class graduated.

Maybe with all the other good programs out there in EBR that can pull from everywhere like Catholic they can't compete with WM better.

Coach Thib never even has spring football. That shows how good of a coach he is.

I don't know where you get that info.

Two years ago the basketball team had 4 starters that transferred to Dunham.
Dunham does get multiple transfers for ath purposes. That doesn't mean anything bad. Don't be so sensitive. That's a good reflection of your program.

I don't know where you get that info. The son of a friend was one of the best 8th graders in BR a couple years ago. They were interested in going to Dunham. SOmeone called the Football HC Thibodeaux to tell him this family was intested in talking to him about their son playing at Dunham. He told him to have them submit an admission application and once the kid tested and was accepted he would sit down and talk to them. If that's recruiting then its the most passive approach I have ever seen.

The same kid was approached by coaches from Parkview, Episcopal, U High, Catholic and one public school. Multiple times from each. Maybe if Dunham did recruit they would be better.

I don't think Parview has to recruit although eveidently they do some, at least. It seems that kids flock there because they know they will have a chance to win championshps.

This can't be - according to Funreaux and ProjectP2294, private schools do not recruit nor do kids go to certain private schools just to win championships?? But then again, they are still butt-hurt over OCS losing to a public school...

Heard people talking this week at the state championships and sounds like dunham is committed to winning. Also that they are willing to pay some assistants. I heard that 2 top offensive coaches in the BR area might join the Dunham staff for next year. What is Dunham's past offense? I think they were a running team when they won in the dome. If the coaches i heard go there they will not be running the ball as much.

Just what i heard from some BR area coaches.

Who are some of the coaches you heard that might join Mistretta at Dunham? Have you heard anything about Redemptorist and the HC search?
