Going to my first race in about 10 years with my son (6) and my Dad. Does anyone have any good recommendations for noise reducing headphones? TIA.

Bring something for your 6 year old to do, he will get bored pretty quickly.

If yall aren't diehard or regular fans, I would recommend renting the scanner headset in the stadium.

It's fun listening to driver communication and the announcers. They make it seem like something huge is happening every turn.

It's probably cheaper compared to buying headphones too.

I have a scanner from when I was a kid and was going to get a splitter to plug two headphones into the single scanner. Curious as to what headphones you would recommend.

I still have my Raceciever scanner from 15 years ago. I plug some headphones in w/adjustable volume and I'm good to go.

I’d try the Tech Board too. There are conversations regarding noice canceling headphones pretty often. They might know some good cheaper priced ones.

RACING ELECTRONICS has vendor sites at every race where you can rent or buy their noise reducing headsets which comes with scanners. Hook the scanners up to the headset and you can listen to the radio broadcast of the race or you can listen to each race team's radio transmissions from the car and pits.
