been a celts fan since the early 80's. I plan on flying to Boston this year for a round 1 playoff game. Parquet club member. i will also try to go see them play the Hornets in New Orleans if we play there again this year.

Nice. I'm surprised you even remember we flamed each other a couple years ago.

you live in Houston?? if so we may have to hook up for a rockets-celtics game if possible.

Rockets tickets will be extra cheap next year.

They'll be even more mad in the "Dwight Howard to Lakers" thread

Boston has just as many bandwagon fans as the Heat. Please stop pretending otherwise. No one in Boston cares about the Celtics when the team is crap. Though once KG and Ray Allen came to town a whole lot of fans sure did pop back up.
So let's drop it with the bandwagon bullshite.

good! Of course I live much much closer to NOLA than Houston but the drive is not that bad and definitely worth it especially to see my team play.
You are a rockets fan though right? or am i wrong?

like i told Deke the other day, this signing does much more for the Heat than the Nash trade does for the Lakers.... the Lakers, even with Nash, are still older, slower, and limited by Kobe and his knees....
Lebron's ability to drive and dish combined with Ray's ability to catch and shoot will be lethal..... i mean, just look at how good Mike Miller was this postseason, and he could barely get up and down the court.... now, put Ray Allen in Miller's spot, and consider Allen is still athletic enough to play defense and get to the rim occasionally.... i think by far this move pretty much sets the Heat as the team to be at least in the East, if not the NBA.....

Oh, I'm a Rockets fan.
By the way, I hope Houston gets an NHL team one day. I know it's far-fetched with all the Southern teams moving north, but a good hockey team is the one aspect of my Houston fanhood that I've been missing.

Oh this could be true. The difference is that bandwagon fans makes up about 75% of the current Heat fanbase.

oh man that would be fabulous indeed. I have not seen a game live since 2009 in nashville. Heck, then i would have to come there to see my habs play. Right now with no team in atlanta the closest NHL arena for me is Dallas. Tampa probably next then nashville. Yeah houston has been needing a team.

Allen switches teams and goes from being old to being an experienced veteran.
It doesnt hurt the Heat but he is still going to be 37 years old when the season starts.
Allen is going to come in and do what everyone thought Miller would do. Stick 3s if you leave him to double team Wade or Lebron. There is no way in hell you can leave that guy to shoot open shots. He is a nice pick up for the Heat. My question is where does Wade play when Allen is on the floor? Don't think Allen can even play anything other then the 2.

I officially give up on the NBA.

The rich get richer. They are going to sign Rashard Lewis and Camby too. For someone who is so great, Lebron sure needs a lot of help to win. The Heat are turning into The Avengers of the NBA.

I believe it, I've heard it so many times so I assume there is some truth. The linked article is good, but it doesnt really explain anything. Just says Rondo shadowed Ray for a season and then just stopped. There had to be something not mentioned that caused the falling out between the two.
