Pretty shitty of Allen to have been thinking about going to the heat even while the season was going on. Jmo though

1. I haven't read this entire thread, but where does it say that?
2. That's pretty normal behavior, to think ahead of what you are going to do with your life.

Bosh is not a banger so IMO he is better at the 4. Lebron is a huge 3 and is just as much of a mismatch there, if not more, then he is at the 4 right now. That will change as he gets older, but right now he still has that athleticism.
Problem is that their production doesn't show what you're saying. LeBron's production at the 4 over the 3 is insane. His PER at the 4 is 37, while at the 3 it's 29, and those were in the regular season. I'd venture to say it was even better in the post-season. (Last year's numbers the same. PER of 37 vs 27. He shoots more efficiently. He rebounds better. Shoots more FTs.)
Bosh's production is nearly identical when he plays the 4 or the 5, but he shoots more efficiently at the 5.
In the playoffs, the mismatches LeBron creates while playing at the 4 far outweight any advantages of playing Bosh at the 4 with a traditional Center at the 5. If they could get a very good Center, then yes, but that's very unlikely to happen. It would take something like a Top 5-10 Center in the league to offset the advantages of LeBron at the 4.

Stephen A said he'd likely end up in Miami because of mutual interest during round 1 of the playoffs

I don't remember this. So I can't comment towards that. But I think Ray Allen's been counting the days till he could leave since his blow up with Rondo.

I'm not putting much stock into what Stephen A says.
But, even if true, that's normal human behavior, to plan ahead for the future in terms of your career.
He can be interested in going to Miami and it have zero impact on how he prepared or performed for the Celtics.

Plus, it's not like the Celtics weren't looking to trade him all season long. If I remember correctly, they had a deal in place, and Doc Rivers even told Allen he was traded. Only to call him back the next day and say "never mind." The guys been thinking about his future all season, and not necessarily his FA.

You probably said the same when he told people weeks in advance that Lebron was going to Miami

Yea, and he was also backing up off of that prediction right before LEbron even announced it, kinda proving that he basically "guessed" it and got lucky.

I haven't heard the Jason Terry to the heat talks until the MSB
Can anyone give me more info? or is this just speculation/ what people think would be a good thing for the heat?
