You can be elite and have weird shite going around you. He was no longer elite.

I dont know why the Ravens didnt wait till camp but we knew Tucker was done. They didnt draft Tyler Loop for nothing.

Loop is about to start rookie camp so they're getting the questions out of the way now.

They probably know what's coming with Tucker's tug-and-rub situation and wanted to distance themselves from it as quickly as possible so it isn't a distraction later.

The best Twitter reply:

His DNA, however, will remain in Baltimore for years to come

There are several (double digit number) reports of him going to legit massage therapists but asking them to do sexual favors instead, whereupon they complained. Enough that the Ravens decided to cut him.

(This coming from a team where you can murder someone and stay in good graces with the franchise.)

He was the ultimate weapon, especially for a gritty team like Baltimore that tends to get into dogfights.

Tucker has the highest FG% in NFL history AND the longest FG in history AND that 66-yarder was a game winner. That sums up his career.

Automatic from anything under 40 yards, with range well beyond that, and clutch in the biggest moments and game winners.

He was great at putting it through the uprights.

Pretty good field goal kicker, too.
