Burrow is the best qb I’ve seen. And I don’t even like to get involved in talks about rankings. His deep passing is the most accurate I’ve ever seen of anyone coming out of college.

By pro-readiness?

- Joe Burrow & Cam Newton: both leaders of men, but very different styles of play/leadership. Say what you want about Cam Newton but he made some good teams/players look absolutely foolish. The guy is an annoying fricktard, but I think his brain is a huge asset and he's got the athletic tools to match, which all make up for his garbage attitude.

- RGIII: people love shitting on him, but dude was balling before injuries and the incompetency of the Redskins devoured him. Had he gone to a good team, the story would be very different. I think he could have been a Russell Wilson type QB success. Seemed to have his head on relatively straight, good arm, smart, mobile.

- Kyler Murray: dude has no weapons, can't see over his OL, and still and managed to look competent as a rookie

- Jameis & Baker: retarded personalities, but can get the job done if they have good coaching and skill players. Probably won't ever win it all, but you're not overly nervous about putting the ball in their hands.

- Marcus Mariota: love this guy but outside of Chip Kelly's system, he's looked pretty lost except for a few brief flashes

- Johnny Manziel: never had a chance

Bradford and Mariota was someone I would compare more closely to Burrow as far as stats

I don't think Manziel was ever ready mentally.

And I always thought Mariota was a little overrated.

Jameis might be the the best QB in the NFL when it comes to his physical abilities. From a physical aspect, he would be top 3.. But he is a risk off the field. Just because he hasn't done anything lately no one brings it up, but can you depend on him? You never know when he will take an Uber and decide to sexually assault the driver.. So from that aspect of it there are questions...

1. Burrow (broke records in a pro-style passing offense for a year)
2. Winston (played at a high level in a pro-style offense for 2 years, too many INTs though)
3. Mayfield (thrived in an air raid O for 3 years)
4. Manziel (threw the ball well in a decent offense for 2 years, too dependent on his legs though)
5. RG3 (pretty much same as Manziel)
6. Mariota (thrived in a Mickey Mouse offense for a few years)
7. Murray (played sparingly until his last year, also too dependent on his legs)
8. Newton (see Mariota, but only played one year)

This is purely based on college with no bias from those who have actually played NFL football.

Mariota looked pretty good coming out, just he got broke by the Titans. Different head coaches and offensive coordinators about every year will do that to you. Doesn’t help that his best WR Corey Davis can be guarded by linebackers too.

Let’s not forget about “exotic smash mouth”
