SR is one of the few left in the industry who can actually write. I certainly do not agree with everything he says, but he's always is fair. Can't say same for Advocate, but I subscribe basically because of him.
And maybe this is a perk that keeps him there because he likely does not make a lot. Think of how many sporting events he has to attend a year while sitting in often lousy seats eating subway. Has to go early and stay way after....

It makes me proud that our fine Southern city sends a reporter to the Masters every year. It’s cool.
