A rent a win is a game where you can literally sleep walk 3 quarters and win double digits. They couldn't do that against ULL.

I wouldn't disagree with that sentiment. Although, the "blame LSU for all of our faults" is quite annoying from the ULL side, as well.

depends on which LSU shows up. If they play to their potential, it could be a shutdown game. But they've been known to sleep walk against non-conference opponents.

You follow recruiting well enough to know that can happen. Being a non BCS team in Basketball, baseball and softball don't mean much.
UL has an amazing development program going on in football, but not one player at that school was recruited by LSU. LSU could definitely sleep walk for 3 quarters and win. That's not a shot at UL, but that's just the way football works. They recruit at MUCH different levels. Obviously you have the "rare" occasions. But we aren't talking freak victories such as App St over Michigan, etc.
LSU slept walk through 3 quarters against Troy in 08, and Troy was a sun belt powerhouse during that time .

I think we have generally solid baseball program. We won't be a perennial threat for the post season but usually a decent team. Given that LSU doesn't have an in state rival, the two schools could play more often and IMO grow a pretty decent baseball rivalry. Its not football passion, but both fan bases do love their baseball.

I think that the attitude of some ULL fans makes it look like it represents the entire fan base. Certain ULL fans came on here beating their chest and thinking that they are the king of Louisiana and way better than LSU based on one early season game that was called due to weather before the game could be completed.

I wish LSU would play a 3 game set with either ULL or Tulane each year. With the way the schedule works and strength of the SEC a tough OCC isn't necessary if you produce in the SEC.

It's become a talking point here lately. Sure a few ULL fans talked shite like idiots. But I've had LSU fans tell me to kill myself and go die. Should I hate all LSU fans because a few told me dumb stuff?

Just off the top of my head, you could have 3 game sets with ULL, Tulane, Houston, Rice, Baylor, TCU, and SMU. Midweek with Southern, LA Tech, SLU, McNeese, Northwestern State, and Southern Miss. All local and RPI boosting.
