Pujols & CJ Wilson to Angels
Glad you are still alive, Dean.
Thought for sure we'd be reading a death by fapping obituary.
Still processing everything.....

Thanks for a phenomenal run in STL Albert
I'm happy for you if money was what you wanted. STL just couldn't afford to keep you at near that price.
Good luck

Can't believe Pujols left St. Louis after winning a title.

It'll be 30 yrs ago I signed a 10 year deal w/NYY. It'll be interesting to see how long A. Pujols stays strong and productive, no easy feat!

Aside from "The Decision", isn't Pujols leaving the Cards as bad as Lebron leaving the Cavs? I mean Pujols didn't even have trying to win a title factored in....money seems to be the only reason he left.

I kinda hope Pujol's breaks down and the Angels end up getting fricked on this deal
and you are right, this is purely a money grab, shite what were the Cards offering, 10 years 230 million? At least he is going to get to play DH now

If Pujols was a hometown kid and promised the city a championship and then didn't deliver it would be a good comparison. But Pujols brought the Cards two championship trophies, if LeBron does that then he doesn't get 1/10th of the heat he did from Cavs fans.

MLB Radio was saying earlier the Cardinals were "slightly over 200/10". 10-year deals are absolutely retarded 99% of the time.

Speechless.
I can't believe he did this.

This dude is not 99% of the ballplayers. This could be a great deal for the Angels.

C.J. Wilson needs to be on TV after he retires.
He's a really smart guy.

As a cardinal fan I'm glad that we didn't sign pujols to a 10 year deal. We aren't the yankees.

Only if he partners with LoMo. A live twitter feed show.

Agreed. I was really impressed.
Still wish the Yankees would've made a play for him.

I wonder how Jered Weaver is feeling today about Angels' position last summer that they couldn't give him more than 5/85.
Posted on 12/8/11 at 11:15 am to SCUBABlake
Now they are maybe the best team in the league.
It was good management. Hopefully Weaver can see that.
