not NFL people but this is a pretty credible mock draft site. Certainly has some NFL sources.

NFLdraftcountdown.com
that site also has the Jets i the Super Bowl, so I wouldn't trust them on much

He'll take a franchise back at no 12 overall. Especially one that played under Saban. And Ingram is the perfect back for the NE offense.

The real joke is the Bengals taking Green @ 3

Belichick has taking like 2 offensive players in the first round over his 10 years there. Only offensive players he has taken were later than the 20th pick in the draft as well.

When PP demolishes the combine he will be the first db taken easily.

The Pats have 6 picks in the first 3 rounds this year. If Bill wants to gamble, this would be the year to do it.

Why would he? They have one of the worst ranked Ds in the league but their O just hung 45 on the Jets.

Zero interceptions. Kind of strange

Not sure if it's been said on here since I didn't read any of the replies, but he's given up 13 receptions this entire season to guys he was guarding.

1 catch per game. That is amazing.

What does that have to do with Mark Ingram? Running backs grow on trees, it takes a home run hitter to go high in the draft these days. There are none in this draft.

I'd would be interested to see a link on that because he gave up like 6 against Blackmon and then at least 4 against OU in the championship.

I was just about to say this, he combination of size and speed is remarkable. I personally think the Colts trade up and grab PP7 if they can, there isn't a team out there that needs DB's more than them.

Look it up PP7 isnt even projected as a CB by some nfl people. He might play safety.Prince could go as high as #2 PP is looking like he is going 10th

PP7 is going to play corner in the NFL. He isn't a Malcom Jenkins tweener type athlete. He is going to destroy the combine and the furthest he drops will be Dallas IMO.

He has all the attributes a corner needs, but in a safeties body

the Pats have talent EVERYWHERE on defense. They are just a really young team on that side of the ball. They aren't nearly as bad as their ranking would indicate

I just don't see this if they are still playing Tampa 2???

When a player like Jason David can play well in your system, it shouldn't be a priority to spend that much money there

How accurate is this website?

Not sure if this is Germans

quote:

Peterson has natural ball skills. He has excellent hands, long arms and unbelievable athleticism that allows him to tip almost any pass that comes in his direction. He also possesses good upper body strength for ripping passes out of receivers hand

quote:

Peterson plays with above average on field intensity. He is a somewhat physical tackler, he has solid strength, and he has decent mental toughness. But oddly, he showed up at LSU's spring practice this offseason at 222lbs. That is probably a little too much weight for a corner.
Peterson's main issue is a complete lack of cover skills. He possesses pretty bad route recognition skills. He is very bad at anticipating slants routes, and he frequently loses focus on his man. He often gives receivers too much of a cushion and he is very susceptible to being fooled by head fakes and breaks in routes.
Peterson is consistently out of position in coverage. He lacks instincts, and sometimes it seems like he just doesn't know plays. He is usually overaggressive in coverage and he struggles to commit to his zone in pass plays and play actions. He also commits a whole lot of pass interference penalties after he gets beat.

The slants are only a problem when we are playing zone and we have him 5-8 yards off the line of scrimmage.

That's one of the dumbest things I've read in a while... it's almost like some people don't watch the games

Or watch 1 game or remember one play from an entire season that sticks out and bases an entire judgment off of that.

Just silly.

Obviously we are baseless in our argument that PP7 is awesome... I mean he only was selected as the best defensive player in college football

doesn't PP7 give up a ridiculously low ypc?

I can only think of PP7 getting beat twice. Against Alabama (PI call) and against UGA last year against AJ Green (incomplete pass, overthrown)

I honestly don't remember him getting beat over the top once this year... I remember the one pass interference call where he was beat but that was a smart play to take the penalty there.
