Let's see what everyone's thinking for tonight's games as well as what they were thinking when they filled out their bracket, should be interesting to say the least. Also, I know my stated bracket predictions look like complete bullshite, but don't worry, I have about two teams left in tomorrow's games. I've cleaned up in these regions but damn the others have been bad .

(7) Michigan vs (3) Oregon

Current prediction - I'm actually thinking Michigan takes this. They strike me as a team similar to that Shibaz Napier UCONN team that got hot in the Big East tourney and rode that momentum and their star player to the Championship. I don't know if this Michigan team can go that far, but they're playing damn well right now.

Bracket prediction - Oregon over Michigan

(4) WVU vs (1) Gonzaga

Current prediction - I think WVU is playing some serious grown-man basketball right now. Them and South Carolina are idiotically physical, and I think they have a damn good shot at toppling Gonzaga. I know plenty of top seeds have had an early scare and then recovered, but if the Northwestern game didn't get Gonzaga's mind right then they'll lose this one and potentially by a decent margin.

Bracket prediction - Gonzaga over Notre Dame

(4) Purdue vs (1) Kansas

Current prediction - I go back and forth on this one. Part of me thinks Purdue's big guys can just go HAM on Kansas, but another part of me thinks Kansas might have an extra gear that no one else in this tournament has. I don't know yet if Sparty is for real, but what Kansas did to them in the second half was damn impressive. I'm pulling for Purdue, but think Kansas probably has more ways they can win this.

Bracket prediction - Purdue over Kansas

(11) Xavier vs (2) Arizona

Love the annual Xavier run that no one someone how sees, but I don't think this is a good matchup for them. Rarely does the understudy beat the mentor, and it's an even worse sign (IMO) when the understudy is at a less-talented location. Familiarity with each other will put this game on the players, and Arizona just has a sizeable edge here.

I cant believe oregon is a dog to michigan on a neutral court. I know michigan is hot, but cmon oregon has been amazing all year. Dillon Brooks is a beast.

I think West Virginia has a very good shot on taking out Gonzaga.

Yea, really looking forward to this game and Oregon-Michigan. Both should be awesome.

Michigan is due for a cool-off/flameout. That said, Louisville was a matchup nightmare with the size/athleticism and they got through it. Michigan just can't afford foul trouble with Walton and Wagner.

Oregon did have that big go down with a torn ACL in the Pac 12 tournament. I know that has me hesitant to choose Oregon.

Kansas has the better guard-play. I'll take them over Purdue.

Will be interesting to see how Oregon is able to guard Mo Wagner and D.J. Wilson.

I think Xavier has a really legit chance to knock off Arizona though. Really looking forward to Gonzaga-WVU

Dan Dakich had an interesting rant on how Xavier's assistants are preparation monsters and geniuses at studying up on and frustrating the opposition.

i have oregon over michigan and oregon going to Final 4. I wanted to ride Michigans wave but i didn't wanna ride it too far.

Didn't get a single sweet 16 team right in the East region ...

In what tournament game that they've lost under Self have they ever not had the better guard play?

Just sayin...

Outside of the 1 and 2 seed first round games which I feel like are pretty much guaranteed I didn't get a single game right in the East

Xavier has looked dynamite these first two NCAAT games and got things together in March after a string of losses in the immediate aftermath of Edmond Sumner's injury, but I just have to think his loss will eventually catch-up with Chris Mack's squad.

WVU has a really good shot at knocking off the Zags. Love the physicality that WVU plays with, I'd actually favor them in this game

I am going to ride with Michigan on this one. With the Oregon big man out and Michigan riding high, something tells me they got this.

(4) WVU vs (1) Gonzaga

This is probably the most interesting matchup for me. Originally I thought Gonzaga would be fine until the Elite 8. But this one is going to be tough with how lackadaisical the Zags are playing versus WVU's defense right now. I'll stick with the Zags though for now.

(4) Purdue vs (1) Kansas

Kansas. I want to say Purdue cause I really like Matt Painter and think he's extremely underrated by a lot of people. But no one is beating Kansas right now.

(11) Xavier vs (2) Arizona

This one is just as tough as the WVU/Zag's game, because of how hot Xavier is. But I just don't see Arizona bowing out here. I see them as at least a Final Four team, considering they are in Gonzaga's bracket.
