Ty Cobb was the best baseball player to ever wear spikes.

The DH rule in baseball is akin to communism. If you put on a glove, you should also swing a bat.

Elaborate because this makes no sense.

For watching on TV if you are a neutral fan: NHL > NBA > MLB

College softball is far more entertaining than college baseball to watch on tv.

Having huge athletic departments bolted on to universities would not make sense if they were started from scratch today.

Making athletes only interested in the NFL/NBA go to college classes makes as much sense as requiring someone who wants to learn HVAC to study the violin.

The overhype of athletic events is offputting. There's always another "game of the year" next week.

College Football should be it's own semi pro league and be a totally seperate entity from the school. Except keeping the name and location, etc. It should have a draft, have 3yr contracts where and the kid go to school in the off season (which is 7 months a year) if he wants to.

Truth. The only thing more boring than watching golf is listening to someone talk about golf.

Same thing can be said about Tom Brady then playing in the AFC East. Plus the Titans had some absolute wars with the Colts when they had McNair.

For my man midnightvibe, barry, and some of the Rafa fanboys. His career would be Jim Courier or Thomas Muster without polyester strings.

Jamie Moyer deserves Hall of Fame consideration. I didn't say election. "He's just a compiler" is a snob argument.

Jack Armstrong once started an All Star Game.

It's a subjective first half of the year achievement award.

Once the SEC adopts lacrosse, both men's & women's, across the conference-national championships will be won consistently by its member schools.

I think Draymomd Green is likable and I like his aggressive style of defense.

If forced between being a fan of San Deigo or Boston sports teams, I'd choose San Diego easily. SD pro sports have historically sucky teams, but I'd rather be content while losing than winning while miserable in Boston.

The Knicks as a franchise are on par with the Utah Jazz in relevance. That frachise is a blight upon the league and a testament to the NYC hype machine.

When American Ninja Warrior was in Indianapolis, they had a couple of Indy car drivers run the course. Neither finished it, but they didn't do terrible.

Except Tom didn't shite the bed year in year out in the playoffs.

Tom Brady was a part of dynasty when Peyton Manning's playoff problems began to become a running joke.
