Put down $25 and lost his game with the Lions last night. Guess he should have left that one alone. Cost him 750k. Smh

Shouldn’t have gotten greedy and just did a 15 game parlay. Idiot.

Why he didn’t get a loan and put 300k on Green Bay is beyond me

Wrong. He had them moneyline. So it would have taken like 500k on Green Bay to net 100k on a hedge. It was also a free play so there was an issue with he couldn’t withdraw the money or something to that effect. He would have to play through the winnings.

300k on GB would still only net you 60k

But yeah, 60k better than nothing

I would have thought that whatever casino hedged that bet would have been calling him before the game looking to settle. I would have taken half…at the least

Well, he should have found a a way to hedge and bet GB -11.5 for $375K.

Wins $375K either way.

His loss.

That’s great until GB wins by 7 then he’s out $375,025

Yeah he had DET ML. You could still guarantee a huge chunk of change by taking GB ML

How is this known? The OP gave no real details or links.

They would need to bet over $630,000 on the Packers moneyline in order to guarantee themselves a profit of near $97,000. Most people don't have that kind of money laying around.

I don't understand why he didn't create a massive offsetting bet on the money line or something.
