It is easy...but it is a lot for this team to get over the traditional Big 10 powers (for us it has been a mental road block for too long) so I'm hoping we can stay focused at Iowa. Iowa is playing pretty strong football right now. Indiana just beat NW and Michigan State is always a pain in our arse.

It's a lot easier than most of the other teams in the top 5 or 10 but hopefully the team stays focused on the big prize and doesn't take it for granted or we'll have 1999 all over again for us.

Yeah, playing Georgia, LSU and probably Florida in the SEC title game is an easy task, by all means.

I wouldnt doubt if Florida, USC or Oklahoma/Oklahoma St. jump PSU, by the end of the year.

I don't think Oklahoma or OK State have much of a chance because unless Texas chokes twice, they won't have the Big XII CG for a nice end of the season bump.

yeh and USC hasn't done anything in BCS games to back it up

While I think USC is legit as hell, beating a bunch of crap Big10 teams like Illinois and Michigan, along with OU (who has a 1-4 BCS record) isn't THAT impressive.

USC is legit, but the computers hate them because the PAC-10 is such crap right now otherwise.

You think USC is legit (I do as well) yet we beat Oregon State 45-14 and they lost to Oregon State within a couple of weeks of each other. Just something to think about.

I was referring to USC being a legit BCS team year in and year out.

FWIW, I think USC rapes PSU this year, or any Big10 team any year for that matter.

You realize we're the best team ever in bowls too right? 9-2 last 11...26-12-2 all-time...14-5-1 in the big ones (Orange, Rose, Sugar, Fiesta) and just about all of them under JoePa.

We didn't play any Big 10 teams in those last 11 bowls btw.

USC is legit against top teams, but fail against unranked teams. Its been that way for awhile. Just ask Or. St. (twice), Stanford, and UCLA

Last year we beat a Big XII team in Texas in a bowl game. The year before we beat an SEC team in Florida in a bowl game. On the road...hostile environments...against SEC and Big XII teams.

Foreshadowing?

You guys were probably favorites in a bunch of those I would think...we were told we couldn't hang with SEC speed in 2006 and Big XII power in 2007.

you don't need to talk shite about the Big10 right now.

If LSU were relevant, yes. But they're not this season so let it go. PSU and tOSU would both beat LSU right now.

This is just stupid. Your 2 loss buckeyes have done no more than LSU has.

Yes, but none of that has to do with USC's current dominance over your conference. There's just a different breed of athlete in the Southeast and out West, which is why I think teams like USC have so much success against your conference. FWIW, I think this year's PSU team is the best team in the Big10 since the 2005 OSU team that beat the crap out of ND in the Fiesta.

Hey and I'm just sticking up for my guys...not like I think we're world beaters this year or anything but at least give us the chance to settle it on the field.

An unbeaten Alabama and especially once-beaten Florida and UGA, must be getting nervous about now, as Texas, PSU, and USC, seem to have them possibly boxed-out as of current..

And the more flag-football I see from the Big-12, and the more inept Offense I see from the Big-10, and the more close calls from mediocre teams versus USC in the Pac-10..

Leave me feeling sad and angry, should an unbeaten Bama, or once beaten UF or UGA, emerge from the SEC, and be possibly left out of the BCSCG.

I would disagree, but my point was simply that no Ohio State fans are here talking shite about LSU so why pick a fight?

A lot of them...

I don't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure we weren't favorites to GA Tech or Miami in the Peach Bowl. I don't remember if we were the Vegas favorite or not against Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl for the championship...

And one of the two we lost was to Texas in the Cotton Bowl... we were huge underdogs in that game and it showed.
