The beginning of this thread was a bunch of people screaming that Schefter was violating HIPAA. Schefter cannot possibly violate HIPAA, because he isn't a covered entity. I'm no trying to be a "know it all smart arse", but we have too many arm chair compliance officers that are quick to scream HIPAA violation, but in reality they have no clue who the Act applies to, or what the letters actually mean.
