So you discount that he was injured, just like Bryson and Bubba. Wasn't lack of motivation.

Brooks was injured. It was clear. Because of his injury he never knew if he would be the same. He chose liv because of this, which completely makes sense and nobody can blame him for that. He of course won’t come out and say that directly, but he came as close to directly saying that as possible at the masters.

Just looking forward to all the best players playing in the best tournaments again.
Anyone thinking that isn't gonna happen next year needs to wake up and smell what they're shoveling.

Keep sticking your head in the sand to pretend Brooks isn’t a LIV guy. Same with DJ. You can’t just pick and choose which guys you hate because they play LIV, but then make excuses for the couple of guys you like.
Good luck to Rory putting the European team on his back in this year’s Ryder Cup. Even though he has abandons the DP World Tour himself, he’s lobbied to have the core of the greatest era for European teams banned from this year’s event. Rory playing a four ball with Pablo Larrazabal will be nice.

And has since, even though he left for LIV, softened up on him a little bit and isn’t a full on hater anymore.
My point is I’m pretty sure that whole paragraph is misguided.

I don’t think that’s really “picking and choosing”, I think that’s judging people by their actions. Kinda what we are supposed to do right? Choosing LIv as a player absolutely does not make you a bad guy. It makes 100% sense to some. I get it. Just be honest and upfront and don’t try and sell us bullshite. DJ, brooks, HV3, and many others did just that. Others, were completely full of shite and also tried to burn down the entity and players that helped out them in position to even make LIV a possibility for themselves

And I don’t like brooks and have never liked brooks. I just don’t hold anything against him for choosing liv and the way he went about it

Funny you don’t mention Fitz or Hovland for team Europe….

For some trashing the PGA was a necessary evil.

They have every right to trash the pga if they want and come up with all kinds of reasons why to join LIv, and then others can judge them on those actions.
I’m not randomly deciding which liv players bother me and which don’t, I am using their own actions to decide. Even players I disliked like Brooks, I’m saying I have no issue with regarding LIV

Fitz can man up and take his 20-8 beat down they have coming this year. He didn’t want any LIV player on his team either.

When had Poulter ever entered a Ryder Cup playing well? Some of those European guys (Sergio, Poulter, Westwood) just play better in that event than they do on Tour.

I mean, those guys step it up for sure but c’mon. They were crying after last Ryder Cup because it was clear they were nearly done then.
If LIV doesn’t exist are we sure they’d wheel out their corpses for the next one?

Yep. Those guys legacies were buried and put to bed in Wisconsin.
Pieters is the one liv player that would def have made it. Those other old guys you could say would have been part of the captains helpers, but they weren’t players

Padraig might be more useful than the 3 guys he listed

I think they could still use Sergio.
But Rory won’t allow it. He hates LIV.
Why does Rory live in Florida and only play the bare minimum of DP World Tour events? Could it be…. the money?

When did Rory ever talk shite to DJ or Brooks or anyone for taking money? Maybe Rory’s issue with Sergio and certain others was they couldn’t stop running down the tour, and then suing the tour Rory was still a part of. You think maybe that kinda played a part? Sergio is in his 40s so it’s clearly too late for him, but others can take note. Don’t burn bridges on your way out of a company

2 huge factors.
Money and he’d have 1/10th the legacy if he gave all of his attention and energy to that tour.

then suing the tour
He'll be back on tour next year with all the others.
Bottom line
