What do you think all the sponsors and tv deals that funds the PGA are going to do if the pga let’s all it’s talent go somewhere else?
And that'll be better if they can't come back at all?
Pandoras box is open dude, they're already gone and are continuing to leave.
Damn, you're stupid

I'm saying let them play in both and then the talent is still playing in PGA events so they aren't going to lose sponsors. So what you don't have a super competitive field for the John Deere or Houston Open, Those events don't have a huge audience anyways.

The pga is still fine for now
All the young top guys are still firmly in their corner. Their cornerstone of young top players hasn’t gone anywhere
They lose a burns, scheduler, Rory, jt, zalatoris or someone like that and they are fricked

Then maybe the PGA should let them play in both so it doesn't kill them?
You think that will save the PGA Tour?
No, what will save the PGA Tour is LIV OWGR application being denied. If players can't play in majors, the Ryder Cup, or the Presidents Cup, LIV will die. That's the PGA's best and only play

Yeah technically giving them an out here made sense. Now, If these two take it, turn around and come back to the PGA, does it halt LIV player acquisition?

Pure conjecture by you. You have no fricking idea if that is true

Anyone with status can just resign though and apply back later. Their status will still be intact

Those guys are all still on the PGA tour. And the two strongest of those listed have absolutely made it no secret they hate LIV

Yes. I think players would prefer to play in both. I think when the PGA started acting like it's us or them is when players said well frick you if you are going to get in the way of me making a frick ton of money.

But a few players that spoke against LIV just a few weeks ago have already changed their mind. Money talks.

You think the PGA will make it that easy for them? I don't

All the guys signing up were talking about how much they wanted to play less golf, not more. Every single one of them. Like they all said, they would prefer to play in a Tour that pays them frick you money to play half a regular schedule.
And even if they did, the PGA's value gets hammered if they allow that. Their sponsors don't have massive deals with the PGA Tour to have part-time players.

My whole issue with the Tour is the contradictions they show towards the players. They are independent contractors for tax/benefit purposes according to the Tour, but they must obtain a release to play in events opposite a Tour event. Now, they are required to play every event once every 4-5 years to maintain Tour membership. I think it’s wrong.

If China is not doing enough to ruin our country these saudis will continue to do the same.

A lot of them are, but there are good ole local boys from Augusta that are members and not "rich as frick."

Money talks. And this is our downfall.

The players aren’t being coy. They are outright saying they want to play less golf.
