Yes Alex Smith or Colin Kerpjshridja is deffinitly a huge silver lining after losing out to a HOF QB. Good luck converting 3rd downs this season

Isn't Alex Smith talking with the Dolphins about a contract?
Smith's camp said he was going to come back if the Niners didn't sign Manning. He's our QB.

And if he regresses young Kaep is going to be there.

Not sure we would've competed with the bills for mario williams anyways. They gave him a boatload of money and I don't think the titans would've paid him that much

He could be a HOF QB or he might not be the same. He could also be awesome and take one big lick and that's that.

In which case Smith/Kapernick > someone on the IR.

Oh and $95 million for 5 years is comical.

I don't think he really believes that, he's just still really really mad about 36-32 and he wants to hurt my feelings to punish me.

Denver was a mediocre team last year that got lucky in a very weak division. They had a point differential of -81 which was the eight worst point differential in the NFL last year. They had the 24th ranked scoring offense, 20th ranked total defense, 18th ranked passing defense, 22nd ranking rushing defense, and I can list about 1000 other facts which give a pretty good indication that Denver was a fluky, mediocre team that needed a lot of luck to win games last year. The ONLY thing they did well was running the ball and Tebow played a substantial role in the Broncos running game success. This move just doesn't make much sense looking at it from his point of view.

I remember reading that Mario Williams was waiting on Peyton Manning to make a decision so he could figure out if he could talk to Tennessee or not. He didn't want to wait that long and just signed with Buffalo instead. Who knows what would have happened, but as someone who roots for the Titans now, I'm not sure I would have wanted them to match that ridiculous offer anyways.

1) im not a Saints fan. Everyone knows that

2) I was speaking to the fact that they only converted one 3rd down in the NFC championship game

Denver won because they play in a terrible division. He knows it's the easiest route to the playoffs.

:kige:

I feel much better as a Pats fan that I know Brady rapes that defense so it can be a shootout even if our defense is as bad as it was last year (it wont be)

49ers with Manning would be a much bigger challenge and quite a force

I'd say the NFCW is easier to win than the AFCW. I'd say SD is a bit better than Seattle, and KC has some pretty good talent.

well it's pretty much 1 and 1a, they're both terrible. I get why he picked Den over TN, but the difference between SF and Den must've been something pretty miniscule.
