This is so funny as the Big 10 and Pac 10 are the very conferences blocking the Playoff system. All in the name of the Rose Bowl. You ask for it and they got it!

Nobody here is not wanting a playoff. Bring it on!
Expect 2-3 SEC teams in the playoffs every year and an increased chance to win the title year in year out. Maybe that's the reason why there is resistance against the playoff system.

Here's a thought, Carroll: stop losing to teams like Stanford and OrSU, and I can assure you the loving media will have you at or near the top of the rankings.

SEC commish an coaches voted to support the current system as opposed to playoffs in their 07 spring meeting. You need to post all the facts.

Probably more related to money. Until someone puts together a package that shows how much $$ conferences would get, then it won't happen, IMO.

Never said it was perfect. In fact, no one says the BCS is perfect. ALWAYS going to have the outsiders looking in. The only scenario that is not really addressed is the 3 undefeated team scenario.
