there are times I feel like you are participating in some sort of bizzaro message board performance art.

the year I cited was probably the nicest possible comparison I could have made since you wanted to talk about PER. Lebron's efficiency was dramatically better in the years that followed 06-07.

LJ PER by year:

03-04 (rookie year) 18.3
04-05 25.7
05-06 28.1
06-07 24.5
07-08 29.1
08-09 31.7
09-10 31.1
10-11 27.3
11-12 30.7
12-13 31.6
13-14 30.2

If we must make a head to head comparison between Kobe and Lebron then Kobe's most efficient year was 2005 - when he had a 28.0. So far in his career James has seven seasons better than that

Don't bother arguing, it's a lost cause.

I keep forgetting you play mental checkers.

That post was in the context of Lebron's 2007 "greatness" and defending Lebron for being a beta.

His attack - show Kobe to be one that runs away.

My response - too rebuff point A as an offensive maneuver and point B as a defensive move all in one post.

How could you not follow that?

When did I ever defend Kobe's PER? I think that stat's a gay stat made by a gay man for beta fans.

My first post was defending Kobe's greatness. Then ya'll Lebron Lovers got defensive and starting crying about how Lebron is great too despite running from greatness to join a superteam.

With your jimmies firmly rustled you started the team comparisons.

When you lost there, you scurried back to your lover...PER.

Failing to realize I never defended Kobe's PER.

Now quivering, you peak over your shoulders whimpering for mercy as your gay PER lover has his way with your beta bodies.

Is this the part where we say that rings don't matter because they don't favor Lebron or is that later?

It wasn't about Lebron at all.

In fact, here's the quoted posts, in order. Hilarious you don't see just what you did.

- VKC: You lost me here on this one. Demanding a trade to the leave the Lakers makes it harder to win. The Lakers were the "easiest" place to win a title.
- htran: do you not remember how shitty the lakers were at the time...?
- You: Going to the NBA Finals 4 outa 5 years winning 3 times. Terrible.
- htran(after posting LAL's 3 season records where they lost more games than they won): so yes, those teams post-shaq were pretty shitty.
- You: 1. That Laker team Kobe played on was TERRIBLE

When judging individuals, the individual stat matters while the team stat doesn't matter nearly as much.

If you can't follow that logic, prayers sent.

Not at all. Just like everything (stats, wins, rings, ect.) it all has to been taken into context

PER isn't the only way to measure, but you obviously won't like it because it doesn't favor kobe. If it had kobe in the top 10 you would most likely like the stat

No problem with that, that's what most fans do

You seriously can't place those quotes in the context of the posts around them? Critical thinking. Keep trying. You might get better over time.

Don't give up just yet. It'll come.

PER is about an individual stat as assists are. Convenient how rings get tossed out when your player needs 4 HoFers to sniff a couple.

Based on several team/system factors.

But of course for LeBeta fans it should count but rings should not.

Your ability to knight for Kobe is so fricking astounding. Seriously, I don't know how you take such a contrarian stance and stick to it so adamantly.
