For people who prefer the NFL game vs college, why do you like it more?

The older i get i find myself caring less and less about NFL. I watch casually and have it on but i dont nearly as involved as i do with college.

I just always find it odd when someone watches only NFL and doesnt care college.

It is, admittedly, better football. NFL players are at the top of their game. I'm a college fan, and I prefer the college atmosphere much more, though.

the games are much more competitive, players are much bettor leading to more watchable games imo. i get disgusted at times with the lack of defense and passing game that exists in 95% of college teams.

the offense and defensive lines especially of the nfl put college players to shame.

i like college football, but so many games are who gives a frick? lsu is playing who? in what state? are they even d1?

every single week in the nfl is competitive. every single game is hard. whereas in college you have tremendous build up for months for 1-3 games that dont always deliver a competitive result.

And because it's easier to follow players in the NFL. CFB has so much turnover.

I watch and enjoy both, but I'm the opposite of you. I started out being obsessed with college football and would sparingly watch the NFL, but as I get older, I find myself more interested in the pro game (and MLB for that matter) than college football.

That said, I loved the NBA when I was younger and hate it more and more the older I get.

This. Why else would I wanna watch a Browns/Jets game?

Because the Browns have some studs on both sides of the ball. Maybe this is the year they can put a couple things together. Jets have a rookie QB that looked pretty good the first game. Can he keep it going, or was it a fluke?

NFL is a better product than the majority of CFB. Let's not act like some of you are watching Bowling Green vs Middle Iowa State on a Saturday morning.

because we already know the CFB Playoff will be Clemson OU Ohio State Alabama , while the NFL playoffs usually have some surprise teams

As more and more money is being pumped into CFB, the factors that differentiate it from the NFL will subside. If/when players start to get paid, it will look more and more like a minor league for the NFL. Interest will wain for many.

I still enjoy watching LSU games, but my days of watching any CFB game are long gone. That could be because I have a kid now, because LSU isn't as good anymore, or it could be because the product isn't as good. Either way, I just enjoy the NFL more because the very best are going against each other in games that typically come down to less than 10 points.

One is pros who execute to perfection. The other is amateur hour execution. Do you also prefer the WNBA?
