Holy shite that is sick. Will he even be able to recover from that?

Its hours later, but honestly I don't see how. If by recover, you mean remake himself into a fringe or even rotation NBA player, maybe. I can't see him being a top 10-15 player ever again though. This is depressing for him, for the Pacers (who are a small market franchise and can't recover from this), for Team USA going forward. JUst a really bad injury.

I mean he's obviously out next year but what about after that? Could he return to even close to the player he is now? You just have to hate this for him. It's a teams worst fear when players go play for team USA

In today's day and age it's theoretically possible, but I think he'd be lucky just to be able to play again. It's going to change the way he jumps, pivots, runs, etc. Especially if he has to have metal rods in his leg.

This is bullshite. First off, bringing Lebron into this is lazy as frick. Second, Paul George isn't shite. He the most hyped basketball player of all time. If this happened to some scrub not a single one of us would give a frick. PG is a scrub, and therefor none of us should give a frick.
I hope he comes back as good as ever btw

Kevin Ware got back on the court 7 months after his injury. Played 9 games, but still had a lot of limping/pain, so he red-shirted to recover. I don't think he's playing BB any longer.
Just to give you a slight indication

Why is the base so close to the court? Is that the same distance as the NBA?

That may be a career ender.
People always seem to say this after a leg injury. Buster Posey will never play catcher again, Marcus Lattimore will never walk again, etc. He might not ever get to the level he was at, but unless something goes really wrong (like with Prothro) he'll play again.

He's at Georgia State now.
Thanks for clearing that up, googled it and looks like he's allowed to play for Georgia st for the upcoming season.

PG was a top 10 player in the NBA..
Not anywhere near scrub status. Like posted above, any injury this severe is terrible but when it happens to a star of this caliber, one who hasn't even hit his full potential yet and one who would've played a bigger than ever role on this year's team, it's a huge loss. Not only for the Pacers, but for team USA. He very well could've been the difference maker down the line for us.

There are two reasons Kevin Ware didn't play basketball this year and neither are related to breaking his leg.
1. He's not very good.
2. He smokes too much weed.
Assuming nothing goes wrong with PG he'll be back to working out near the end of the regular season.
