the braves offense was so bad back then, I don't know how anyone could come to the conslusion they were using... except for Javy Lopez... I think that guy was juicing.

the only "evidence" to support your claim is the SOS from ESPN that literally changes several times a day.

It's not like SOS is going to get better for them.

you're mad and jealous that your team blows and your golden boy is gone so you're taking it out on your hated braves by using ridiculous logic and 3 spoonfuls of butthurt. it's really fricking pathetic.

I guess I was mad and jealous in 2008 and 2011 too? How many times do I have to say it has nothing to do with my team?

so I take it you won't be posting a picture of the brewers' world series trophy?

you got me. you won a world series a long time ago when you were in pre-k. you must have been so proud.

none of this gives merit any of your previous claims.

I will ask again, is there any logical or factual information from this season that supports your claim that the braves suck? seems to me that everything proves quite the opposite and that the braves are rightfully in their place with the 2nd best record in the MLB and 13.5 games up in the division.

LOL

yes, my age 18 years ago certainly has HUGE relevance and greatly affects the play of a major league baseball team today.

Clique has united.

If 18 years ago has no relevance, then why is a trophy being shown?

2nd best team in the NL though imo. If they win the next series against the Cards, they'd have my attention.

The Braves are the best team in a bad division.

We looked pretty damn average at that point when that was posted.

I know you're dying the Braves went on another huge run. Your tears are so, so sweet.

Why don't you go waste more time digging up my previous posts or post more inaccurate records.

Nope, not really. I think its funny you're such a fricking bravetard that you railed on your team and threw in the "GOAT" towel before the ASB. Now you're back on the bandwagon and I'm enjoying it.

You really believe I thought and/or now think this Braves team is GOAT? Jesus dude. You have no idea how trolling works do you? This shite is too easy.

barely.

pitt is 67-44, braves are 68-45

that would have relevance if they were 3 or 4 games up. 13.5 games up means that in a bad division, the braves have clearly distanced themselves from the pack.

how bad is this division anyways? let's look back to spring when most people predicted the NL East would produce the World Series winner...

Bleacher Report:

quote:

1. Washington Nationals 96-66
2. Atlanta Braves 91-71*
3. Philadelphia Phillies 78-84
4. New York Mets 67-95
5. Miami Marlins 62-100
*Denotes Wild Card

quote:

It is hard to find much fault with the Nationals coming into the season. The starting rotation, with Stephen Strasburg not facing any innings restrictions and new addition Dan Haren at the back of it, looks deeper than it did last year when it led the league with a 3.34 ERA.

We know the bullpen is better, with Rafael Soriano closing games and Drew Storen moving to late-inning, high-leverage situations. A full season of Bryce Harper is going to boost this offense, which finished 10th in runs scored last year.

ESPN:

WORLD SERIES: Nationals over Tigers
quote:

WORLD SERIES: Nationals over Tigers
quote:

WORLD SERIES: Nationals over Blue Jays
quote:

WORLD SERIES: Nationals over Rays

16 of 43 picked the Nationals to win the WS. 0 picked the Braves.

SI:

all 7 "experts" picked the Nats to win the East, 4 picked them to win the WS. 0 picked the braves for anything more than a WC spot.

MLB.com

Nats - number 1 preseason power rankings
quote:

The team with the best regular-season record in 2012 looks just as strong this year. Ace Stephen Strasburg will not have any innings limits and Bryce Harper has shown early this spring that he might be more of a force than he was in his Rookie of the Year season. The Nationals' formidable pitching staff is healthy and ready to go.

Holy frick, what an awful prediction.

Did Swamie win some type of fan vote and send in that WS prediction?

Look, I'm sorry the preseason predictions gave y'all a complex or put a chip on your shoulder for the season, but regardless of what was predicted in March, all of that means nothing 113 games later. It's a bad division with teams playing bad baseball.
