The cut by three teams thing is an over-simplification. Pete Carroll never wanted Flynn in the first place and did everything in his power to make Wilson the man. The Raiders are...well, the Raiders. They made a mistake cutting him. The Bills never really had a spot for him, they were panicking when EJ went down. So, ultimately, he wound up where he should have been all along and is performing very well.
