Man, I just went back and searched my old account... My two biggest melts: Carlos Lee. And the move to the AL.

I had a serious Chernobyl melt-down about moving to the AL. Pretty sure that's why I left TD for a few months and then came back with this account because I couldn't get access to the email account attached to the old one.

The emotional roller coaster that was this post season has me in withdraws. It might be the booze but still I need that rush of game 5 again.

try to extend Altuve

This needs to be above and beyond the primary work for Luhnow this off-season.

That, and they need to try to show Correa some gratitude - don't low-ball his arse with a league-minimum offer.

Agree. Altuve contract and acquire relievers. Interesting to see if we try to upgrade the pen through free agents or trades. And knowing Luhnow we will pick someone off waivers who becomes a key piece of the pen next year.

Lot easier to wait that 100 days as the champs. This post season was rough on my sleep schedule (and liver) so I'm welcoming the break for now

No doubt!

Damn LE took some big L's in that thread

yes or no: do the Astro's have a future all star in their farm system in the next 3-5 years?

emphatically: NO!

especially on the pitching side. ZERO stud arms.

This was after they drafted Springer, Correa and McCullers

I asked that question and not one person had the balls to go out on a limb and name a player a lot of the guys y'all were pimping in that thread still have never played in an MLB game.

I picked the Astros to win the WS this year. And have been giving them props the last 2 years. I'm happy for all you guys. Great team

Yes you did... thank you for the nice words.

To be fair, it was YOU debating that the two prevalent lists of farm systems was bullshite. But somehow you are saying we were the ones wrong because we wouldn't name a player by name?

You do realize that you have a reputation on this website for many things, two of which are 1) you never admit when you are wrong and 2) you have an extremely nasty reaction to when people try to point out that you are wrong.

(Please keep in mind, the two items above are not an all inclusive list. An all inclusive list would include that you are typically correct on more things than you are wrong about... which makes items 1 and 2 so annoying.)
