So we'll see if the team that showed up for the first 6 weeks is the Badgers, or the one that faced Illinois is the real one.

it was the same team. you didn't even play bad vs Illinois. that's the funny part about this. I watched that whole damn game intently because I had two Benji's on it.

I remember UW getting embarrassed by fricking Indiana at home one year. Like got killed 60 to something.

What did they do the next week?

Beat OSU in Columbus.

Must have been before 2004.

UW has only beaten Ohio State once since then (UW 1-9) and that was @ Wisconsin in 2010.

Are you fricking serious? Did we watch the same game?

9/18 on 3rd or 4th down, 2 fumbles lost for a team that hasn't been fumbling, 1 critical interception (only the 2nd of the year for Coan), a missed short field goal, not converting in the red zone, 3-ish ypc...virtually all of those things were completely out of character for this team.

Was that the Jonathan Orr catch game?

I was there in the UW section. Went to Hineygate after and some OSU fan bought me a beer and congratulated me. Said he was repaying the favor from when he was in Madtown.

Ohio Stadium is the most beautiful stadium in the B1G, Happy Valley the loudest.

yup. you didn't have careless errors or turnovers or anything stupid. you were just simply outplayed

illini could have won by 17+ ngl . that bomb that was called back on them before half was brutal.

You sure you watched the game? We had 3. A costly one at the Illinois 25 and a dumb INT at the end when we should have ran the ball and punted.

ETA: 3 is the most we had all season in a game too

careless. nothing out of the ordinary which made you go "that was dumb"

the takeaways were earned by Illinois. not given to them. please learn context dude. I'm begging you

Coan has been really safe with the ball all year, so I kinda get passing it there.

But still. To go on record and say we didn't play any differently or have any costly mistakes or turnovers in that game is....something. The words "idiotic" and "absurd" come to mind.

best athletes you faced all year. Illinois looked faster and bigger than you up and down the roster.

that's why I dropped coin on them

I have no idea why Wisconsin called that pass play on the last possession. They were around midfield and could have given Illinois the entire field to drive. Instead, Illinois gets the ball near midfield and the clock and Lovie's timeouts are never a factor.

Please, teach us. Give me the "context" around your post, above.

you didn't make stupid mistakes. Illinois just outplayed you and forced turnovers
.

biggest mistake that entire game was 78 yr bomb called back on Illinois to give them 7 more points on your arse

All true, and with the benefit of hindsight I totally agree with you. I think Chryst is thinking, we've been getting stuffed at the LOS all day, they're probably expecting run, perhaps we catch them off guard, move the sticks and the game is kinda over.

And Coan had one pick the entire year to that point. But apparently tossing one there is not out of character, according to our friend from Oregon.

Get repeatedly proven wrong, made to look stupid, double down on stupid, move goalposts repeatedly, then try and talk shite to somehow rub it in.

That's "idiotic message board posting 101". Well done sir.
