Except he is a below average CF now. All defensive metrics UZR and DRS have him below average 3 consecutive years which is long enough to be a trend.
So its not out of the question he moves off CF in the later parts of the deal.. however that does make his bat less valuable

One thing people overlook in thinking this is his first good season, is that the past few years he didn't have much protection in the lineup. Weiters has only come into his own the past half season and Markakis had a few injuries. He is seeing a lot more fastballs now and he is making them pay. Its a large deal, but given the market and that they only bought him out of ONE arbitration year, thats a good deal.
Now we need to lock up Weiters in 2014, before his third arbitration year. Markakis will be a free agent after that season though, so it could put the team in a bind.
Luckily we should have Machado under team control for a while same with Bundy and (fingers crossed that he develops, Schoop at 3rd or 2nd)
