Who says we don't? Last year we lost to the National Title winner-Auburn, who was very good and who also cleaned the rest of the whole SEC's clock. Yeah, they were the champs and we did lose to that really good team on a game ending FG as time expired Chief. And well we lost to another #1 team in LSU this year. We have hardly lost to any teams that were not great the last few years. Unless of course you are suggesting LSU is not great this year for instance?
I find the delusion of some that think if a team loses to the #1 team that they must suck. So basically out of the 120 teams CFB has there is only one good team and the rest suck under this logic....That is retarded thinking.

I find it ironic - most will agree I have a thick skin. I would expect a Buckeye fan to be the last to point out Oregon's failures in BCS games. Up until the '09 Rosebowl, tOSU was full of derp in BCS in games.

Oregon shredded SC 2/3 years and they haven't even felt schollie restrictions.
Next year Trojans will be the team to beat. However, they will limited in 2-3 years.

We lose Lavasier Tuinei (WR), Mark Asper (guard), Darriom Weems (tackle), Paulson (TE), Terrell Turner (SDE), Dewitt Stuckey (Mike LB), Josh Kaddu (SAM) and Eddie Pleasant (Rover). LMJ is up in the air.

I expect every unit to be better next year except running back if LMJ leaves (not much fall off though) and linebacker will be younger but there will be more schollie numbers. Lyerla should be a very good replacement for Paulson and that unit should have more depth.

All around these just may be my new favorites. When one views more pics of them a guy can see far more rich detail in them and the pieces; cool new undershirt, new gloves with awesome detail on top sides, chrome shoes which match the gloss black helmets that has our old shoulder Duck wings but placed on one side of helmet in Chrome. Also have Chrome "Ducks' and Oregon "O" in Chrome moved to back of helmet. Neat webbing on shoulders. Interesting new colors for numbers and overall. Should really look cool on TV accenting that Chrome in places. The OP's Pics do not do the real look justice.

USC has not been able to go bowling or win the Conference the last 2 years but that did not keep them from playing and winning against us. Yes they beat us this year by us missing a easy FG as time expired. However last year we crushed them. The year before that, with no bowl sanctions and their heralded coach Pete we set a record at the time for how bad we beat them. And up to this year USC had not won in the whole State of Oregon for 5 years. And do note since 1994, Oregon has beat USC more then they have beat us. Thus if you think Oregon has only been good because USC has had sanctions you need to GET CLUE...
FYI, I was laughing at all your other silly suggestions of comparing which is better. As far as the oil comment or boosters... I could care less.

Not really. We were 3-3 in BCS games until the '09 Rose Bowl. Wouldn't really call that full of derp. Good try though.
