No. He had Hakeem Warrick and Jerry McNamara

Oh yeah! McNamara shot ridiculous from the 3 that game! Good catch!

Hughes was a 22/6/5 player the year before coming to the Cavs.
What does it matter BEFORE he came to the Cavs?

He was an injured, inefficient washed up player with the Cavs, which is the only relevant thing here.

And if your argument is that Hughes was Lebron's 2nd best player in his 7 years there, pretty sure you're not doing much to disprove my point.

Big Z was in All-Star form way back then. Varejo was a excellent player as well

These guys at their best are really good role players.

Haha, this statement is so ridiculous. Jason Kid, Jason Terry, Chandler, Barea, Brewer, Marion. That team was awesome with a bunch I good players. There is a reason sine of these guys are making an impact in these playoffs.

I wouldn't even go as far as calling Varejao a good role player. His best season in Cleveland during the LeBron years he averaged about 8 points and 7 boards playing roughly 30 minutes a game. That is rather average in my book

Doesn't even matter lol.

Just think of the list, Z/Varejao/Williams/washed up Hughes - That's who we're arguing as the best player on a CLE roster not named Lebron over a 7 year span. That tells the story right there.

I agree. That roster was atrocious and the OP is spot on saying it is absolutely amazing what he did there in Cleveland. In my opinion Mo Williams was the best player he had there and I don't think at any point in his career he was even top 30-40 in the league.

Lebron's Cavs were elite defensively, and were built for Lebron to one man army. The players may have been poor individually, but they complemented young Lebron well.

yes, youre right. they were a team built for the regular season- they lacked star power(other than LBJ) but played super hard every single night. he took that team as far as 1 person could. and then he gets crushed for leaving when the best player they put next to him was shaq 7 years past his prime or antwan jameson or mo williams. whos laughing now?

I have to ask do you honestly not recognize how good Lebron is? There is a reason everywhere he goes he succeeds and he has as many MVPs as he does. I can understand not liking him. I can't stand Tim Duncan, CP3, and Kobe, but I can see they are all good players. Also you jinxed Kobe and caused the injury.
