Best player on the nation's only undefeated team...

Is that in the bylaws to be given the Heisman?

That's how you wind up with Gino Torreta and Troy Smith winning a Heisman.

Best player on the nations only undefeated team and playing for a NC. And remember, the Heisman will be awarded weeks before the NC game is played. Who's more deserving?

If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were talking about Tyrann Mathieu. . .

Manziel deserves the Heisman IMO, but I doubt he'll win it.

What difference does it make what class he's in? Manziel had a better season and is a better player.

And it's not so unprecedented. Tebow was a true sophomore when he won. Manziel's a redshirt freshman. His clock is exactly where Tebow's was when he won.

So the frick what he lost 2 games to virtually top 5 teams..

2 of the greatest defenses, he still showed up. how did he shite the bed? Tebow had what 2 or 3 losses himself in one of his heismans campaigns.

not a bad argument...

If its given to Manti Teo he would be the most undeserving heisman ever.
. Clearly somebody isn't old enough to remember Charles Woodson winning over the much more deserving Payton Manning in what 1997?

The heisman is for the best college player in America. Johnny football is easily the best player in college football right now. Manti Teo is a good player but does he really impact a game more then Johnny Manziel.

x's a billion. He was by far the most exciting, the best, the most fun to watch, the most impactful.

Teo is solid, Manziel was borderline phenomenal.

Brazton Miller or Shazier or whomever for OSU could have had the best season ever and would not be considered. i wish people would stop talking about these players

fricking this.

quote:

2 of the greatest defenses, he still showed up. how did he shite the bed?

If I had a vote it would go to manziel BUT he fell off during the second half against LSU and UF. Especially against LSU. I think that is where the "shite the bed" comment comes from.

This is retarded considering Braxton was considered to be in second at one point. His play fell off, it had nothing to do with bowl eligibility.

I agree Woodson over Manning was pathetic too but at least Woodson had a little more impact on the game with special teams.
