Well, then, it's obvious that the US choked and their league sucks, and that even though they may have a lot of returning players in 2012, they suck and no matter what happens, deserve to not be allowed in the gold medal game next time.

I'm kinda glad Ryan Hall isn't in the front pack right now. They're going so fast.

I can't even imagine running a 5:00 mile, period, let alone running at that pace for 26 miles in a row. Wow.

I always love watching the Olympic marathons and seeing them run past a lot of the major landmarks of the city (Parthenon in Athens, Forbidden City in Beijing, etc.)

I'm kind of surprised they've stuck with the marathon the whole time. I thought they might show the first five or so miles of the marathon, show a taped track event, come back, show a mile or two, go back, etc, and then show the last 6 miles or so. Oh well, don't really care. Just an observation.

A Kenyan's never won the Olympic marathon before? Wow, surprising (at least to me).

I am completely suprised by that...as a country, they are easily the best distance runners in the world.....glad they are finally winning the gold....

I always really like the moment the leader of the marathon enters the stadium.....
