Other than the ENG, not a bad showing for Latvia. Czechs are at 6 pts and +5, US has 6 pts and +7. Sunday is going to be incredible!

It would be incredible if we beat Canada, take the bye into the quarterfinals, and go in as the #1 seed. 
Even if we do lose, and we have to face someone in the secondary round for the right to go into the playoff rounds, we'll be one of the highest seeds, probably the #5 seed, which means we'd play the worst team (probably Norway) and beat the shite out of them again.
We're basically a lock for the playoff rounds now just playing for seeding.

The worst the US can finish is 6th, which likely means a match against Latvia or Norway. Neither team should get close, but playing an extra game the day before the quarters, with the risk for injury, etc., wouldn't be good. If we don't beat Canada, we can still get a bye with wins (in regulation) by Finland and either the Russians or the Czechs.
