They are the only REAL team in their conference, and even when they lose two or 3 games they still win it. So obviously back in the day before you had to play for it,they got voted champs a lot.
To me, USC has 1 NC, The 2004 year. Besides that, beating a 3 loss Michigan team while LSU-OU slugged it out doesn't qualify. Their only other appearance was a loss to Texas. It must be pretty fun being in a one team conference!!

Don't be a dumbass. You're an absolute homer if you don't think USC would roll through the entire SEC this season with the exception of Florida and (at a push) Alabama.

No......... Actually being a homer is defined as a person who sat and watched Oregon State physically push their team around for four quarters, and then say that no one else could do it.
I am pretty sure Ole Miss is good enough to do it. Even Georgia could do it. The fact is as good as USC is, they find a way to lose a couple games to chump p10 teams like Stanford or OSU. So I am not convinced they would go to a better conference and dominate, when they go 10-2 or 11-1 out there.
