This was covered in another thread a few weeks ago. They intentionally changed due to weather. Look at when baseball plays its the most active weather of the year. This was done to prevent delays or cancellations due to weather.

I prefer real grass myself but understand the reasoning. Fans traveling to games have higher odds of timely games vs before. When we played LSU this year it was cold and cloudy and wet. Yet we got all 3 games in because of this change.

Sometimes you have to make tradeoffs. But they do need to speed up the improvements I listed on page 1. That is sorely needex.

You guys and Texas have to ditch the softball logos in center field.

It should have been a precondition to joining the conference.

Oklahoma easily fits the SEC landscape. I want baseball not to be an afterthought. OU may not be prestigious historically but they do have some hardware to show for it: 11 CWS appearances, 2022 runner-up, 1951 & 1994 national champs. The facility upgrades are in the works.
