Clearly behind Ruth, Gehrig, Mantle, Dimaggio and Berra. Ford and Dickey were better players but Jeter has meant a lot more to the Yankees than either of those two. Jackson and A-Rod weren't lifelong Yankees. Rivera is the only other player outside the big five with a case for being a greater Yankee than Jeter. So I put him as the sixth or seventh greatest Yankee of all-time.

No idea. Top 6 are set with 2-6 being debatable. After that who knows.

There are quite a few guys that have legitimate shots, but it is a pointless debate.

Jeter?
Bernie was good and all but like I said, you can had a pretty much unanimous #1. Then you have a few "groups". Within each group you can swap guys around depending on what you value. There is no definitive 1,2,3,4,5, etc.

Then MAKE YOUR LIST PUNK. Quit TRYING TO BE smarter than you are Barney Fife.
Posted on 7/9/11 at 5:17 pm to dukke v
since you already have 6, I would go with Bill Dickey, D Jeter, M Rivera, & Lefty Gomez.
Posted on 7/9/11 at 5:18 pm to TigerintheNO
Kevin Maas, Mel Hall, Drew Henson

I clearly stated there is no definitive list
If I was grouping I would agree with your top 6. Depending on the day I would swap 2-6 in no particular order. I think Mantle, Gehrig, and DiMaggio are 2-4 but the order is debatable.
