Ohio State has halted voluntary workouts for seven teams — football, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, field hockey and women's volleyball — due to the results of its most recent round of COVID-19 testing.

Probably every athlete was asymptomatic...

This is insane. If you are symptomatic, stay home, get tested and get on hydroxychloroquine. The vast majority that does not have an adverse reaction to the virus should carry on as usual

If Ohio State falls then there wont be football this year

They can make or break the season on their own honestly

CBS Sports

"The Buckeyes are just the latest FBS program to put a halt to voluntary workouts following COVID-19 testing. North Carolina announced Wednesday that its voluntary football workouts would be paused for at least a week after an outbreak of positive tests within the athletic department.

Athletes who test positive at Ohio State are required to self-isolate for at least 14 days while receiving daily check-ups from the athletic department's medical staff. The pause to voluntary workouts also affects Ohio State men's and women's basketball, field hockey, men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball."

This means the bare minimum that Ohio State's voluntary workouts will start back up will be on 7/24 and that's assuming they don't have 1 single player test positive between then and now.

"According to Bucknuts.com reporter Dave Biddle, Ohio State's football program has postponed voluntary workouts for one week - through July 15 - due to multiple players testing positive for the COVID-19 virus.

The university has not provided a date in which student-athletes are allowed to return."

College football will absolutely not happen in 2020. The entire 2020-21 school year is in jeopardy without a vaccine. I hate it for everyone involved, especially over a flu that only claims the most vulnerable people in society.
