Shocking after the debacle yesterday:

247 composites doesn't pass out five star ratings for the top 32 until later in the process.

the composite doesnt automatically award 5*s for the top 32. theres a threshold that has to be crossed. 247 awards 32 5*s for their own rankings
not that it really matters though. top 30 national players can be called 5*s in my book even if their composite score is off by like .005

I saw this on twitter earlier and wondered if it had anything to do with the shitshow from yesterday.
From the outside looking in, I honestly can't imagine it being more than an excuse for someone that was already looking to bail. Day did and said all the right things as far as what was within his control.

There have been some rumors over the past couple of months. The current shitshow in the B1G made it an easy decision.
