They've played:

6-2 Army
3-4 Rutgers
3-4 Maryland
3-4 Nebraska

It's tough to tell where Ohio State is at.

You are absolutely correct and I've thought the same thing. However, they didn't win close games, it was total domination from start to finish. They could have scored 100 points in a couple of those games but used the opportunity to get playing time for a lot of other players. It is what you would expect from a good team. I expect a close contest on Saturday but home field advantage coupled with the depth on Dline that osu has will be the difference. Buckeyes 31-17.

I’m worried about this game simply because I don’t trust Ohio State’s secondary outside of Denzel Ward. tOSU DL will get through PSU’s OL rather easily, but so did Michigan. It’s going to be a matter of tOSU secondary making plays when McSorley throws jump balls.

As much as the offense has struggled in big games recently, I’m more concerned with the defense.

If penn state tries the 50/50 throws they will win. Ohio state can't stop it

PSU looks legit but I think OSU is hitting stride right now too, and they're at home

Penn State only has one "big" win and that was last week against a Michigan team that doesn't have a good offense at all. Ohio State has beaten up on some lower level teams and their only big game, they got their asses whipped. However, I have a hard time believing OSU will lose another big time home game in the same season. I give the slight edge to OSU.

So I'll bump this. Eat my crow that it wasn't a blowout, but I do think OSU is 14 points better on average, just not tonight they had to get the job done
