That's what I'm doing except I'm counting my losses. I lean redskins and the points but don't feel strongly about it really.

Do a three-team teaser
Cowboys (0) v's Was
Saints (+12.5) at Car
Bengals (-2.5) v's Jax
Saints and Bengals teased is unstoppable, but I'd be wary of Dallas if RGIII starts. He could give that Cowboys D fits, and Romo could always have one of his classic multi pick games.
I feel like more people should tease the NFL. Lines are so sharp and refs can have such a big impact you really have to be a beast (or lucky) to hit over 58% ATS.

But you lose on ev when you tease.

Avoid likely numbers though so you won't meet this fate. That's the premise of the Wong teaser:
quote:
A Wong teaser is a 6-point teaser that involves favorites of -7.5 to -8.5 and underdogs of +1.5 and +2.5. Since most games are decided by those key numbers if we can tease them down to fall within that range, it increases our chances to win a teaser bet substantially.
A typical two-team 6-point teaser at most offshore sites is listed at -110, making our breakeven percentage the standard 52.4 percent that we would need to hit to break even on the standard 10% juice.
Wong’s teasers knock this percentage out of the park, due the frequency of NFL games landing on these key numbers. To break even on these teasers you need to win your teaser wagers around 72.5 percent of the time. Over the past decade, Wong teasers wagers have regularly hit above that number, some as high as 76 percent. Of course, this is dependent on the odds that are available to you.
Here’s what a typical 2-team 6-point Wong teaser would look like:
Pittsburgh Steelers +2.5
New York Giants +1.5
That turns into:
Steelers +8.5
Giants +7.5
Since Wongs are really dangerous (bookies HATE them and will limit you if you abuse them) I am going to hide behind 10 point teasers that meet the same qualifications. They aren't considered "Wong"s and don't have the same stigma in the eyes of the sports books.
Good teasers:
Cross at least two significant numbers
Don't land on a common end result (3, 4, 7, 10)
Are made up of games that you already have a lean on, but want to add extra security

I did something very similar to this yesterday for the afternoon games.
Initial Lines:
Arizona Pick em
Pittsburgh +4.5
Cleveland -6.5
My Teased Lines:
Arizona +7
Pittsburgh +11.5
Cleveland +0.5
$100 to win $135, plus I bet $100 on each individual regular line as well. Needless to say, it was a great afternoon of games!!

That Steelers / Colts game really threw me for a loop. Only game I was way off on. Fortunately, I am very gun-shy about the Steelers to begin with and made the Colts a very small play.

wait, Pittsburgh was 4.5 pts dog at home?
Was not paying attention to lines at all last week.

Yep, Pittsburgh was getting 4.5 points yesterday. 81% of the public was on Indy, LOL

Good teasers...
I'm not into teasers myself but those are some good basic guidelines if you're so inclined.

Is it back to -9.5? I put a half unit on it early this morning at -9.5 only to see it drop to -9 15 minutes later. Last time I looked, it was still -9.
ETA: It's still at -9 on the 5dimes reduced football site.

I have a little teaser open. If it gets down to 8.5 i will take Dallas-2.5 and if the total gets to 50 i may tease the Under 56. Just waiting to see if late steam does anything

cant see giving 10.5 points during a divisional game even given its the redskins.
gonna lay Redskins +10.5 for $25 on bovada or I could just bet straight up at +400 for fun lol
