I had a 1st half $700+ loss on Houston -4 over La Tech.

Ended up 8-1 in that stretch.

I'll have to look back at the juice. The bets were through sportsbook.ag

Thanksgiving weekend I went 12-0 on college

Of course the one time I don't do a ridiculous parlay.

Yeah. A Friday 12 teamer on sportsbook pays out 3066/1.

You could have taken the year off with a $50 bet.

My worst missed bet ever was horseracing when I was in college.

A race came up and I couldn't fully box my trifecta at the end of my day so I put one horse to win and boxed 2nd and 3rd.

My 2nd and 3rd horse came in 1st and 2nd and my 1st horse came in 3rd by a head. Paid out $17K.

..and my #1 horse lead for all but the last 5 seconds of the race.

So.. $6 fricking dollars screwed me out of $17K.

What track allows you to box 2nd and 3rd place on a Trifecta Box?

Locked in so far:

2012 Miss St OVER 7.5 Wins (5 units)
4 OOCs, KY, Ole Miss, 2 out of Aub, UT, A&M & Ark (All 4 games at Starkville)
C'mon, I'm a Bulldog…got to believe we can win 8, especially with the schedule setup nicely this year.

Bama -12.5 vs Michigan (2 units)
Reasons: As explained before, I'm sure Bama's D will maul Denard.

Ohio St -22.5 vs Miami, OH (2 units)
Reasons: As I've explained before, this bet is solely based on Urban Meyer and his record as the best current coach ATS. He is going to make a statement to the world.

Oregon/Ark State OVER 66 (1 unit)
Reasons: Oregon's record in their 1st game of the season at the Autzen Stadium in the last 5 years. They LOVE putting on a show over there. Malzhan & Ark State are good for a few scores too.
2007 v Houston 47-27
2008 v Washington 44-10 (2nd game: non-conf vs Utah St 66-24)
2009 v Purdue 38-36
2010 v New Mexico 72-0
2011 v Nevada 69-20

Fun Bets:
5pt teaser (0.5 unit): PSU(-1), tOSU(-17.5), UF(-24), Ok(-26)
Despite all that's happened at State College, I think PSU wins this one.

Wong Teaser (0,5 unit): SYR (+7.5), ISU (+7.5)
Testing out the Wong teaser for the first time. (Thanks for looking up these games for me, TigerTaterTots)

I'll bet 2-3 more games during gameday.

Great picks. Late game with Oregon and the over is a solid pick

Love Bama I got 1k on them

Only game I'm on the otherside is the Miami OH game

Best of luck this season

It was the old off track betting place where the fox and the hound is located.

I had been betting all day was down to my last $18. If I had $24 I would have boxed all 3 and would have had a fricking party.

Just a thought. Do sportsbooks allow you to parlay the spread and the moneyline on the same game?

I seriously doubt it, although I never tried. I've noticed that sometimes 5dimes will let me tease the spread and the total on the same game, and sometimes it won't. I can't figure out the reasoning as to why I can sometimes and can't others.

BTW, I just funded my account for the season. Gonna put a lil down on the first half of the Saints game (-1.5) to start the betting season. Its finally here fellas! Lets get it started.

Anyone have a solid answer for this?

I had to lay a little on the over. Seems pretty money to me.

Good luck, but these preseason games have been pretty low scoring. I'm probably just gonna stick with the first half bet. Hopefully we keep our offensive starters in for all of the first half and score some serious points so we both win.

srs? how did your odds pay out?

eta: i just tested it and got denied, but some books might let you just dont understand how the payout would work

Would there be any cons to this if you was going to bet the favorite anyways? There is none that I can see. If you took a favorite -5 for lets say 110 and then parlayed it with the moneyline which would be around (-240) you could parlay it for 110 and win 170 instead of 100
