Just saw this. I was hoping it would be a good match. Hopefully Mardy isn't hurt too bad.

I guess it's fitting that Andy goes out as the lone American left like he has been for most of his career.

For the sake of his health, it may be time for Mardy to retire too.

You are right. It's odd how over a year and a half ago, he dropped all that weight and everyone was talking about how great of shape he was in...but then he starts suffering from extreme fatigue and gets diagnosed with a thyroid disorder. He takes off 2-3 months while they are trying to figure that out and get the medication right and then next thing you know, he's having heart issues. Just seems like everytime he's out there, he looks zapped and fatigued. Just not worth the risk.

Murray/Milos coming up at 7:30 Eastern time. They had the nerve to put the Williams Sisters on first in the night matches, but moved them due to the threat of rain. Milos is a bit of an oaf, so Murray should kill him once the point goes three shots or more, but it will be a fun contrast in styles.

Venus and Serena got bounced from the dubs in straights by Kirilenko/Petrova. First lose in dubs all year.

Agreed.

I think it's because they don't play enough events to be ranked. The seedings are based on the doubles ranking.

Looks like we got Azarenka, Sharapova, and Djoker in the morning sessions at Ashe. should be good.
