Thanks. I appreciate that. 40+ years following professional golf gives you a little insight.
I certainly wasn't alone. You and a handful of others made this a Masters worth remembering.
I wasn't much of a Bubba fan, but his post playoff emotions and those in Butler Cabin might have caused me to change my opinion.

don't want to sound like a bad guy, but most of the time the parents and family wait until the players come off of the green. Have you ever seen Derek Jeter's dad hug his son in the middle of the dogpile? Have you ever seen Archie Manning sprinting to hug Eli or Peyton after they take a knee? In golf, the families normally wait until after the players have shaken hands with their playing partners.
jesus
Sorry, but where did Tiger hug Earl after big wins? On his way to the clubhouse. Where does Phil hug Amy after big wins? On his way to the clubhouse. Where did Rory hug his dad last year? On his way to the clubhouse.
As I said earlier, I can cut the mom some slack, I'm sure she was very emotional. But it just normally doesn't happen like that.

Switch to the Golf Channel. They should show the ceremony on the 18th green and the press conference with Bubba.

Somebody else originally made the comment. I just backed them up. Just making a comment, not asking for a public lynching.

Come on guys. We just witnessed one of the greatest Masters in history. Feel free to discuss civily.

some of the people on here find some of funniest shite to bitch about in the midst of a huge sporting event. Its actually quite funny.

No lynching intended. Just think it's a pretty stupid opinion honestly.
But I guess I was wrong, it wasn't just you.

what do these all have in common? they are walking off the 18th to the scoring tent.
It's probably a long walk from 10 to the clubhouse or should I say cart ride. You are right she should have waited to hug her son until they both walked/rode back to the clubhouse

We've been talking golf in this thread for 6 days now. The golf is over, we were just discussing the post-tournament festivities. I understand that it's hard to tell voice inflection and the absolute emotions of a poster when just reading their posts. I'm not angry at all, and I don't think the others, minus TigerPhan, are really angry at me. We were just talking. Nothing more. It's all good!!!

I did not read this thread. I just saw your post and I thought you were calling out bubba's mom for hugging him. Sorry if I was wrong.
