They were pretty dominant. I was glad Abraham played well at QB. Next week should be another easy one before their schedule gets tougher.

Probably not but it's nice to see them playing competitive ball for a change.
When I went to Hawaii for my sisters wedding in 2013 this was on the cover of the magazine they gave out for free at the hotel. They were coming off Norm Chow's first year at 3-9 and went on to go 1-11 that year.
Now they are up 38-14 at the half over what should be a solid Navy squad.

Of course they will. They could go undefeated 3 years in a row, crush their regualr season OOC opponents, crush their Cotton/Peach opponents, and the talking heads/message board warriors would be screaming BUT MUH CONFERENCE SCHEDULES!!!
In fact, if they went unbeaten for 3 years like that their conference schedule would be actually be used against them even more as people would say that it's obviously too easy if they could pull that off.

I just dont get the argument against including all conference champs. Every other division essentially does that. It would be good for CFB for everyone to have a legit chance. You want to curb the erosion of fans showing up to games? Make to where more than 15-20 teams ever have a real shot at getting into the playoff. Late season games would mean so much more if they actually meant the difference between a playoff berth or not. You'd get more schools willing to play tough opponents OOC b/c those would now be what determined a potential wildcard slot and wouldn't end any shot at getting in if you lose.

That is with a 24 Team playoff. But it’s whatever
The first 8 games on Campus. Then you use NY6 and top tier bowl games from there on out

Most of them are only there so ESPN has cheap programming during December.
12 team playoff gets all conference winners and two wildcards. You can still have bowls after playoff selection if you want.
But I'd cut them out of a playoff if I could b/c it's horseshite how the Rose and Sugar frick up the entire playoff schedule just b/c they feel they deserve to have protected TV time slots on Jan 1.

I like Bowls for reason gives teams games and conferences to play. The ESPN ownership of them has hurt the prestige.
I mean ESPN has tried and almost succeeded to make the Sun Bowl forgotten. Because nobody remembers it’s history or what it is because they prop up a heavy game vs it. I wished it would go back to local owners

This works too.
There is just zero legitimate argument against a full playoff when every other level does it that way. Even the academics argument is BS b/c D3 schools have a full playoff too.
