When CBS first came on air, they were thinking the last group would have 4 hours and 20 min to finish.

Could be like Chattanooga. I don't know whether it's Eastern/Central or Tennessee/Alabama/Georgia.

if it's central and right on the line then it would have the maximum amount of daylight at least in regards to where it falls on the clock
at least i think so

Funny you mention that. My parents house is outside Chattanooga (but still under Chattanooga address wise) by about half a mile. We are technically in the Central Timezone, but nearly everything we do is in Eastern Time. I used to have to make my phone manual time change, because it would mess up my alarms (switching over to Central by GPS location).

You would need to be on the eastern side.
Because if it got dark at 7:40 central, that would be 8:40 eastern.
I used to play until 9:15 on the eastern side of the central/eastern timezone line in Chattanooga.

That would suck.
It wasn't that bad for us. We didn't get cell phone service really so you didn't use your phone much back then.
We had kids from TN, GA, and AL at our private school.
The kids who lived in Alabama (and some Georgia) lived well into Central Timezone. So not only would they have to get up an hour earlier than us because of time (us around 7 am, where it was 6 am in Central), and they would have about a 45 minute drive to school. They were getting up at 5:30 or so every day.
