Win or lose this series we still ended the season of the best Braves team in a long time. That itself is a win. Thank god for 2006 and 2011. I can’t imagine rooting for a MLB team that hasn’t won a playoff series since 2001

Unbelievable that Fowler continues to start, that martinez is playing, and Edman is hitting 7th.
Just end this series, so we can get to offseason, and dumping several of these players for used game balls.

Yeah. I wouldn't be thrilled to stick Bader back out there, but in the context of absolutely having to start Martinez for his bat - Bader has to start to cover the ground in the outfield between two statues (Martinez, Ozuna).
And I'm sure we're likely in agreement the batting order should be...

Wong
Goldschmidt
Ozuna
Martinez
Molina
DeJong
Bader
Flaherty
You max out with speed and defense (save Martinez).
Instead Fowler gets max ABs, the worst possible OF defense and Edman's speed and bat buried.
It's effed up for sure.

I am very excited for today’s game. I think the Cards get back on the right track with an offensive explosion. Really think they can manage like 4 hits or so
