If they take away this goal NHL ref is broken

He had no control there

Well it was certainly a “kicking motion.”

I don’t think they should take the goal away, but that was a less than satisfactory explanation

Did our Avs go all season long with bad puck luck to get it now????

It wasn’t a kicking motion. His skate coming off the ice while falling isn’t “kicking,” it’s a puck off a skate out of his control.

Absolutely a goal.

That was one of the stranger goals I’ve seen

But Lehky needs it - been about a month since he scored

He kicked it in. You can’t kick it in without a “kicking motion”

I agree

Wrong. That was no different than a deflection off a skate. Doesn’t mean it was kicked in.

That’s why it was such a quick review. Off the defenseman who was finishing his check bringing Lehky to the ice and the forward momentum deflecting it in from there.

It was not “kicked” in.

I mean, he unintentionally kicked it in, I don’t see how that’s disputable.

That doesn’t mean it shouldn’t count

Sure, then all goals deflected off a skate are inherently kicking it in.

Well no, they can be deflected. The puck was going away from the net. It was unintentionally kicked which caused it to change directions and go in.

LOC on the 4th line and letting his physical game let loose has been quite entertaining the past month

1/4 on the PP much better than 0/4 haha

Avs IMO played better in first then second but got the bounces

Oh yeah forgot to mention Blackwood is playing out of his mind - better than we deserve

The Avalanche for years have felt like LSU at QB.

Find the goalie for the Avs, QB for LSU, and they’re almost about as hard of an out as there is.

Hopefully Blacky keeps it up. Makes Manson’s eventual stupid (which he already had one) make it easier to not effect the game’s outcome.

I always felt over the past few years the Av’s have great talent in players, but the team as whole has been too soft. I think Kadri made a huge difference in 2022 to bring some grit to the team.

Thought Nelson was a pretty big acquisition to bring in some of that grit

Going to be an intense last half of the period

Intense playoff hockey is what I live for, as long as my Av’s come out on top.
