And ESJ not a top 5 team? What makes to think Acadiana will roll? They haven't beaten a team close to the talent of ESJ and the one team they played comparable to ESJ they got blasted.

No. I don't think that ESJ is a top-5 team. My opinion obviously.

beating pbs by two td's is impressive no matter how you slice it..

Does Denham Springs have any shot against LW Higgins?

Unfortunately for ESJ, they won't be able to score enough to keep up. You have teams like Central two years ago, where doug dotson was defensive coordinator. His father is the man who implemented Acadiana's veer offense, so naturally Doug was able to make a great gameplan to stop it. And they did. Same goes for West Monroe, they ran the veer for a while and coach arlidge definately knows how to stop a veer offense. ESJ has been pretty highly ranked the last few times they played acadiana, and they lost badly every time. I think 14 points was the closest they have gotten. They just don't know how to defend it. You have to be very disciplined as a defense, and i don't think ESJ is to be quite honest.I think Acadiana scores over 50 points and although ESJ will put up points, it won't be close.

They know how to defend it. Everyone knows how to defend it.

Here's the problem. They're not disciplined enough.

I picked ESJ before the brackets came out. I would love for Acadiana to make it to the Dome. Would be a great story.

I would love it too, but if i were betting I would go with STM and WM in the dome. STM > Acadiana this year, and i really hate saying that but its true.

Oh and ESJ did have a close game, 28-21 2 years ago against acadiana in the regular season. But I'm still banking on the semi's for the rams, anything less would be a major dissapointment with the talent and size they have.

I like PBS, I just don't think they're no better than a team like Hahnville which ESJ rolled.
