To the Rockets

I don't particularly care for them, but if you can shrug off losing your best player and play as well as they have against the second best team in the league for a half, there's a good chance I'm going to start rooting for you to win.

i'll go ahead and get things started for the evening hornetard crowd:

rockets are a way better team without yao. he slows them down too much and can't play D like chucky hayes

My God what a half. Up 18, gotta hope they come out with the same intensity in the second half. I know Rockets fans talk about daryl morey a lot but he deserves a ton of credit here. We are playing with 30 million dollars worth or our salary and up on the Western Confrence favorites by 18. DM has built a deep fricking team, now let's go Rockets!

Lets wait for the 4th before rockets fans get too excited. Then again, if the Lakers dont start playing defense this game wont end well for us.

If they lose then that's to be expected but NO WAY should they be up 18 at half with 30MM out there playing for them.

Win or lose, the Rockets deserve this much more than the Lakers. The Lakers have less heart than the tinman from the Wizard of Oz.

The Rockets D is really throwing the Lakers off. Not only did they come out flat, but they obviously weren't prepared for how much quicker Hayes is defensively inside than Yao.

I don't like him in the game. He can hit a three but he is useless against Pau and not someone I would trust inside on offense.

Its not just about heart. We just have no intensity. We came out flat in game 1, flat in 2nd quarter of game 2, and flat this game. That intensity must come from coaching and leadership. Phils "zen" tactics dont seem to be working for this young team. Im not saying we wont go to the championship, but the Cavs are playing much better ball than us.

I can tell who's worse defensively, him or Von? But I'd still like for Von to get more minutes.

we need Von to keep up the intensity when someone get's tiredd. I can't think of one reason we need Brian. His size is pretty much useless when Pau is 100x quicker
