Are you fricking serious? There are a shite ton of lunatic SEC fans. Remember the tree poisoning incident? I know they are only trees, not people, but that is insane.

Also, you are overlooking the groupthink effect and the fact that people could express their anger anonymously. The Cubs fans can go tell Bartman to go frick himself and that they will kill him at no risk. It was a stupid kneejerk reaction, but it was not that unusual of a circumstance based on the conditions.

We both know a Buckeye fan (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) shouldn't really be talking about crazy fan bases.

Miggy drinks straight liquor. It does not even matter. If he was on my team, then I would let drink in the on-deck circle if he kept his OBP over .400. He can still hit as well as anyone in baseball.

yea, and that story was in the news for about 10 seconds compared to bartman. most auburn fans are beyond it. sorry, but i dont think it would be the same

there are still tons of people legitimately hate the guy. groupthink still lingering this long after? i dont think so
