Is Bartman going to be interviewed for this? It would be a bummer if he doesn't speak about it

Pretty sure he declined to speak about it. Dude could have made bank off of this incident, but has turned down a lot of offers

Fail

My night will center around this.

Poor Steve Bartman though, I will forever feel sorry for him. I hope one day the Chicago community steps up and does something awesome for him.

I dislike the entire lame fanbase of all Chicago sports teams. I feel bad for the guy, but continue to laugh when Chicago fails

If something like this happened to you as a LSU would you still pull for the team. Remember that people all day would walk up to you and threaten to kill you.

remember, two seasons ago .. there was a semi-steve bartman moment at the box .. remember the fan that reached out for the foul ball and knocked it away from blake dean ?

Journalist on OTL while ago said he got to talk to Steve Bartman for about 5-7 minutes after Steve got off work one day. Guy hid in the parking garage waiting for him.

Don't know if all or any will be on the show tonight.

Yeah, what that guy did at the box was way worse than what Bartman did.

He was the only one sitting there, ran down a couple rows and reached onto the field of play.
If Dean had reacted more to it, that dude would have had problems.
Cost us that series against Bama.

If you read the article I posted on the first page it is from the guy who talked to Steve for a minute. It's from '05

I felt bad for him because the Fox announcers kept on showing after every play as the meltdown started. Hr got more camera time than some of the players. By the next day, everybody knew his name, where he lived, and his work.

I was under the impression that Bartman was talking

Why would he not want to talk. The whole nation other than the assholes from Chicago would stick up for the guy. This makes absolutely no sense. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't vent out my frustration and love for my team.

I really believe the whole reason this "foul ball" has gotten so much attention over the years is bc of the way Alou reacted. If he wouldn't have gone crazy over a ball he might not have even caught, this wouldn't even be a discussion. thats jmo on the whole Bartman thing

I think it only gets attention when a hack reporter needs a lazy story to write or in this case a 30 for 30. I'll watch b/c every 30 for 30 has been good but this story has been played out since like 3 days after it happened. I dont know of any rational cubs fans who blame this guy for losing, it's the same group of people who blame refs for losing, or put "for sale" signs on their coach's lawn when their team loses i.e. morons. It seems truly like the only people who care about this story are non cubs fans, it makes little sense to me

an award winning director is directing this. It hasn't been played out because they will bring new stuff to this documentary. They have a good review up online of it.

I get it the CUBS are cursed,BUT I will not watch something that happened 8 years ago that should have NEVER drawn as much attention as this did. IF it was the play that he messed up and the next pitch was a homerun to win the game is one thing, BUT the CUBS fell apart after this, They still had a chance to win this game. The CUBS choked more than Bartman hurt them. I don't get the hate for the guy. 1996 a kid from the yankee stadium made a play that was just as[if not more] important than Bartmans play. Are the Yanks making him some kind of hero 15 years later????
